Her Media Diary Ranked #5 in Feedspot’s Top 15 Women in Media Podcasts

Her Media Diary, the flagship podcast of African Women in Media (AWiM), has been named one of the 15 Best Women in Media Podcasts to listen to in 2026 by Feedspot. The recognition places the show alongside established names including NYWIFT, Women’s Media Center Live, and Women In Media Network.

Feedspot’s Top 15 Women in Media Podcasts list highlights shows that consistently deliver insight into the experiences, challenges, and achievements of women working across the media industry. Her Media Diary’s inclusion on the 2026 list marks a significant milestone for AWiM and African podcasting, placing a show built around African women’s experiences in the same conversation as some of the most established names in the genre globally.

Since its launch, Her Media Diary has given African women in media the space to tell their stories. Hosted by Dr Yemisi Akinbobola, Co-Founder and CEO of AWiM, the podcast has featured conversations with leading voices across the continent, including Eugenia Abu, Moky Makura, Zain Verjee, Amie Joof, Phathiswa Magopeni, Maverine Cole and Stephanie Busari, among other notable names, and continues to expand its guest roster around themes central to AWiM’s work.

Congratulations to Dr Yemisi Akinbobola and the entire AWiM team on this well-earned milestone.
